Privacy Policy — Connected Eyewear and SPORTCONNECT App
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This notice describes how your personal data is processed when you use the SPORTCONNECT smart glasses and the associated application (hereinafter the "Connected Services"). It supplements our Privacy Policy, which applies to the online store.

2. Our Principle: Minimal Retention
SPORTCONNECT has designed its Connected Services based on the principle of data minimization.
The only personal data we retain are your first name, last name, and email address, which are necessary for creating and managing your account. Images, sounds, and location data processed during the use of the features are not retained by SPORTCONNECT.
We do not sell your personal data.

Visual recognition analyzes your environment to assist you. It does not identify individuals and does not perform any facial recognition. It does not generate or retain any biometric data.
The processing of images, sounds, and location is performed only to provide you with the requested functionality, and then this data is not retained by SPORTCONNECT.
4. Legal Bases
- Account data (first name, last name, email): performance of the contract and provision of Connected Services.
- Access to your device's camera, microphone, and location: your consent, expressed via the permissions you grant on your device, and the necessity to provide the functionality you activate. You can withdraw these permissions at any time (see section 5).
5. Device Permissions
To function, certain features require you to allow the application to access your device's camera, microphone, location, and Bluetooth. These permissions are requested from you and are based on your choice.
You can grant or withdraw these permissions at any time from your device or application settings. Withdrawing a permission may disable the corresponding feature.
6. Responsible Use and Respect for Third Parties
Capture features allow you to record images or sounds from your environment, which may include identifiable individuals.
You are responsible for your use of these features and must comply with applicable regulations, particularly regarding image rights, respect for privacy, and the protection of personal data of filmed or recorded individuals. Where applicable, it is your responsibility to obtain their consent and to respect places or situations where capture is prohibited or restricted.
Capture results from an action you voluntarily trigger. A visual indicator signals to those present that capture is in progress.
7. Retention
- Account data (first name, last name, email): retained for the duration of your account, then deleted or anonymized, subject to the durations imposed by our legal obligations.
- Images, sounds, and location data: not retained by SPORTCONNECT beyond the processing necessary for the requested functionality.
8. Third-Party Technical Services and Transfers Outside the EU
Certain features may rely on technical services provided by third-party providers (for example, for voice processing, mapping, or image analysis). When this is the case, strictly necessary data are processed by these providers solely for the purpose of providing the functionality; SPORTCONNECT does not retain this data.
When these providers process data outside the European Union, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR (adequacy decision, adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework when the provider is certified there, and/or standard contractual clauses).
9. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the "Informatique et Libertés" law, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to define directives concerning the fate of your data after your death.
Given our principle of minimal retention, these rights practically apply to your account data (first name, last name, email).
To exercise them, please write to us at contact@lunettesportconnect.com. We will respond within one month, which may be extended by two months in the case of a complex request. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
11. Minors
The Connected Services are not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect data concerning minors without the consent of those with parental authority.
12. Modifications
We may modify this notice to reflect changes in our features or regulations. The applicable version is the one published on the date of your consultation. Any substantial modification will be communicated to you by appropriate means.
